Portage Inlet Cutthroat Trout Initiative

Description

Searun Cutthroat trout from Portage Inlet watersheds were once an abundant salmonid in the waters around Greater Victoria, but is now largely gone. The project, a coalition of 10 local angling clubs and NGOs will build on past restoration initiatives to create an urban restoration strategy that also benefits coho, water quality, and urban nature.
