The Thirty-Eighth Annual Meeting of the Council and the three Commissions of NASCO will take place ‘virtually’ between 26 May and 4 June 2021. The Council will hold a half day Theme-based Special Session entitled ‘Minimising Impacts of Salmon Farming on Wild Atlantic Salmon: Supporting Meaningful and More Rapid Progress Towards Achievement of the International Goals for Sea Lice and Containment’ on Thursday 27 May. There will also be a Special Session to allow for the presentation of the evaluations of the 2020 Annual Progress Reports on actions taken under the 2019 – 2024 Implementation Plans. In the Commissions, there will be important negotiations in both the West Greenland and North-East Atlantic Commissions on new regulatory measures.
