Institute of Fisheries Management 49th Annual Conference

Description

The Minister of State for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food will launch the International Year of the Salmon 2019 for England during the opening session of this year’s Institute of Fisheries Management annual conference.

The theme for this year’s conference is Thriving or Surviving – Creating Resilient Fisheries. The programme of talks incorporates sessions from the freshwater, transitional and marine environments. Conference sessions will cover a wide range of topics over the three days including: Resilient Fisheries, Yorkshires Rivers, Resilient Environments, Mitigation and Recovery, Future Proofing Fisheries, Resilient Angling and Habitat Management for Fish
