A two-day Symposium was held in June 2019, hosted by Norway in Tromsø as part of the IYS. The Symposium was structured under two main themes: ‘Climate Change and State of the Salmon’, with scientific overviews being provided on these subjects; and ‘Management Challenges and Solutions’. A total of 165 delegates attended the Symposium, where 26 presentations were delivered and 21 posters displayed.
